i feel like frolicking around my house because i am in such a ridiculously good mood. today is one of those days that i think ‘suck it, nyc. georgians have the best weather.’ i have complained about the up and down and up and down and up and down weather until i was purple in the face but nothing beats today. i’ll take a few more roller coaster rides through hot and cold just to have had today.
and 72 reasons i love my life right now:
-there is a burrito in the oven. i will eat it with cheese and cilantro and salsa and spinach
-i took a ton of things to goodwill this morning. absolutely my favorite life activity=getting rid of things and feeling like you’ve done something good.
-after that, starbucks almost favorite warm weather drink: soy caramel macchiato.
-sunroof weather.
-beautiful neighborhood
-stayed up through the entire movie last night. never happens.
-ate a buuurrrger with my roommate and made fun of people in our neighborhood.
-hot boy. nice ass.
-3 mile unicorn run with bestfriend/dogniece. hated about 80% of it until the very end! ENDORPHINS! LIFE IS GREAT!
-sun. sun. sun. sun.
-my body is changing shapes, saying goodbye to my constant companion of a stomach over the last few years and hello to fitness. fitnass. yes.
-will run/suffer through 6+ miles on my favorite college campus in the world
-my creativity is surfacing! it will be spring soon and i will take my plants outside and i will buy new plants! and water them every day! and breathe in their goodness!
-i am feeling more comfortable in my new job. tension continues to arise but i’m breathing through it!
-i don’t have to move! my roommate is awesome! we get along fabulously AND pay our bills on time! i’m a grownup!
-i have had 3 impromptu encounters with some of my best friend in the past 7 days. there are people on this planet who know me and who witness my growth and with whom i can so easily slip into comfortable conversation. mmm.
-there is a dog in my future.
-there is baseball in my future. and a big brother hug. two things i associate very closely. annnnddd we will celebrate my burfday together which is just plain awesome.
-hot water! showers! clean hair!
-the insatiable desire to learn and read
-good beer and people to drink it with
mostly, my brain is on !!!!!! overdrive. let it be known. i am grateful. LIFE CHAMP.
